ORANGE, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 1, 2006--Hubbell Incorporated (NYSE: HUBA, HUBB) today announced the acquisition of privately-held Austdac Pty Ltd. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Based in New South Wales, Australia, Austdac manufactures a wide range of products used in harsh and hazardous applications in a variety of industries. Included among its products are material handling, conveyer control and monitoring equipment, gas detection equipment, voice communications systems, and emergency warning lights and sounders. Annual sales approximate US $25 million.
