- Glenn M. Grunewald is appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Grunewald had been Group Vice President with responsibility for Hubbell’s Lighting and Electrical Products operations. He has been associated with Hubbell since 1974 and has progressed through a series of prior management positions.
- W. Robert Murphy is appointed Senior Group Vice President, Mr. Murphy has been Group Vice President with responsibility for Hubbell’s Wiring Systems operations. In his new position, he will have oversight responsibility for Wiring Systems as well as Hubbell’s Communications Technology operations. Mr. Murphy has been associated with Hubbell since 1975 in positions of increasing responsibilities.
Harry B. Rowell, Jr. will continue as Executive Vice President with his primary focus on Hubbell’s acquisition effort. Hubbell Incorporated is an international manufacturer of quality electrical and electronic products for commercial, industrial, utility, and telecommunications markets. With $1.4 billion in annual revenues, Hubbell Incorporated operates manufacturing facilities in North America, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, participates in a joint venture in Taiwan, and maintains sales offices in the Malaysia, Hong Kong, South Korea, and the Middle East. The corporate headquarters is located in Orange, CT.
