ORANGE, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 6, 2005--Hubbell Incorporated (NYSE: HUBA, HUBB) today announced the appointment of Stephen Mais, 41, as Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Mais will report to Timothy H. Powers, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer, and will be responsible for all facets of the Company's human resources functions, including: staffing, compensation, benefit programs, and organizational development.
Mr. Mais joined Hubbell from the Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc. (PBG), where he was Director of Staffing and Capability. In that position he led training and development, performance management, and established and executed a sales capability strategy for PBG North America. In prior positions during his 15 year career with PBG, he advanced through Human Resource positions in successively larger business units which included experience in sales, finance, operations, and information technology.
