ORANGE, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 2, 2007--Hubbell Incorporated (NYSE: HUBA, HUBB) today announced the acquisition of closely-held PCORE Electric Company, Inc. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Based in LeRoy, New York, PCORE is the leading independent manufacturer of high voltage condenser bushings. These products are used in the electric utility infrastructure to provide safe passage of electricity into and out of transformers. PCORE products cover applications from 15,000 to 500,000 volts.
